bronze oxes

This is a photo of about 3000 year old chinese bronze oxes. It is a lid of a wine container. 3000 years ago there was someone who was able to sculpture this in wax, floated clay around it, melted the wax out of it, baked the clay, and floated bronze into the mould. At one piece. Without air bubbles and being sure that the bronze went into all little holes and places. This fascinates me.
