Now I'm going to say something critical. I find a museum is a framework for the art works it presents, and must not push itself on the foreground. So I don't agree with this red because it overshadows the paintings and prints exhibited in it. I find two good museums the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague and Kröller-Müller in Otterloo. They are modest, functional and because of that beautiful. But it's only my opinion. This says nothing about the picture which I find a good representation of atmosphere, but, again, the red color distracts attention from the interesting things to watch: a group of people having a trip to a museum. As a symphony in red it has succeeded well. A bit of a pity that the ladies are blurred. Well, that was it for today :)

@Illuci: Oh yes, the museum presents itself as a (shouting?) piece of architecture. I agree an exhibition can be more objectively seen in a more modest place. At the same time the red environment adds something. (Though not allways appriciated by artists and visitors, but this time by me it was.)
gorgeous rich red! :)beautiful..

Whenever I see a red room like this I must think of the Red Room scenes in David Lynch's famous TV series 'Twin Peaks'. This one is sort of a visual shock! ;-)
