try some portraits. This is one of my daughters. It is so hard to make a good portrait.
dear AM3 friends, after a while i found back my eyes again. next few weeks i will be in France, Paris and the Dordogne. In the first week of august i return and join in again. Have a nice summer!
I think the lighting is good and the portrait is well done but I would have come much closer to her to capture her expression.

That's not how I imagine her, but apart from that a great portrait reflecting adolescents' uncertainty and a bit shy view ont the world. Noli me tangere :)

Well - i think you did fine. I think it depends on what you want as a portrait. A portrait that captures a persons mood is wonderful. It just depends - is she the type thats all smiles... if so, maybe this is not the winner. Otherwise i take it shes a bit serious... at least right now she is.
